Spring, are you here?

March 16, 2009 at 6:28 pm | Posted in Photography | 5 Comments

The daily high temperature here has been above freezing for the past 4 days! I don’t want to celebrate too early, for fear of being *crushed* by late March snowstorms, but ohmygosh do I hope these warmer temperatures mean spring is here to stay.

It’s amazing how tropical 35 degrees can feel after a cold, snowy winter.  I could have walked the dog for hours…  Have I mentioned that I hope this is spring and that it’s hear to stay?  Please stay, spring.  My sanity is begging you.

  1. This weather is why we live in this part of the world! If it was like this all the time you would not get so excited!?!?

  2. Not to rub it in or anything, but its supposed to hit 70 down here.
    HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Not sure if the cities is in the potential storm path, but they are talking about a major storm next week. As of right now, they aren’t sure if it will be a snow or rain event. Not going to affect you much other than potentially putting a damper on your spring mood, but it could mean having a dry house or a flooded house around our region 🙂

    • NNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I hope they’re majorly wrong (for the sake of your house and my sanity…).

We’ve actually been getting reports here about how the potential for your area to flood is pretty darn high. I hope you and your family will be unaffected!

  4. Yes, 70 degrees here today…30 degrees tomorrow. And who says the midwest isn’t exciting???
