Christmas Cards

I’ve been busy designing our Christmas cards – now that we’re officially married and grown up (or something like that), I think we have to send out Christmas cards.  I mean, I want to send out Christmas cards.  My only question is:

Who do I send them to?  Everyone that we invited to the wedding?  (all 130 couples/families? because that is a lot.)  Or just close relatives and friends?

How many Christmas cards do you usually send out and how do you decide who to send them to?

  1. I would not send them to the whole wedding list, just those you know over and above being your parents’ friends or that you have some history with (ie Sarah in England). Send to your friends but not necessarily to business associates that you do not meet with socially. Send to your family of course, because they like to see pictures. It is also a great way to keep in touch with those who have moved away but you still think of and wonder how things are with them (this way you may get a card back letting you know what they are up to). It may be awkward sending Christmas cards before even getting out those Thank You cards (hint, hint)
